CHAPTER 8
Greetings, greetings! I bet you all thought we had fallen off the edge of the world or something, we haven’t posted anything in so long. No, really, we are ok and are actually off on another adventure already. The fact of which happens to highlight the sad predicament I am in as far as this blog is concerned… it basically all comes down to time, or lack thereof, for me to achieve all the goals I have set for myself for this website. Without going into it too much, my ambition to document our travels with photos and entertaining narrative has fallen way way behind (if you haven’t noticed, we haven’t posted anything in months) and the sad reality is, the way that we travel doesn’t really lend itself to hours of time set aside to work on the computer, typing blogs and editing photos, much less posting it all to our website. Thus, I am announcing a temporary hiatus to the normal routine of this site- from here on out, Life of Saturdays will become purely a photo-blog, until I have such time as is necessary to catch up with the writing. As sad as this new arrangement may sound, I think it will be much better in the sense that you will actually get to see what we are, and have been, up to- don’t they always say a picture is worth a thousand words? Well we have a few thousand photos ready to upload, so you do the math. Now won’t this be better than waiting a good 10 or 12 years for me to finish writing all the stories and slowly posting them to the web? I think so, and I hope you do too. So, without further adieu, I present to you a Life of Saturdays- through the lens…
