CHAPTER 4
After our long day out on the water, playing chicken with heavy weekend boat traffic as we ran laps of the harbor, the whole time trying to look calm and composed while making up seemingly interesting historical facts about Baltimore to entertain the crew, and repeatedly putting our newly acquired docking skills to the test that is critique by a large crowd…, it was finally time to relax and get down to the real business of the day- the Christening pre-party, otherwise known as the Admiral’s Happy Hour, ironic as it was considering the Admiral herself could not indulge. We threw the pre-party at the Dog Watch Tavern in Fells Point, one of the best drinking establishments in that neighborhood, maybe even all of Baltimore, and it turned out great:- just the right mix of tasty pub food, jumbo sized beer pong, and shots of Fireball all around.
